RTF Viewing Without Word
Upload an RTF of up to 15 MB. It renders in the browser: fonts, colors, tables and the images stored inside the file.
No word processor is needed and none is installed. Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on a phone as well as a desktop.
Upload refused: the file is over 15 MB, and images inside it are the usual reason. Rows of backslash codes instead of text: that is a text editor's view of an RTF, not a damaged file. Word document renamed to RTF: still a Word document — the Word viewer takes DOC, DOCX, ODT and RTF.
