A PPTX arrives and the machine in front of you has no PowerPoint. The PowerPoint viewer opens it in the browser: upload, read, close the tab.

What it takes
Nine extensions: PPT, PPTX, ODP, PPTM, PPSX, PPSM, POT, POTX and POTM. Up to 20 MB per file, one at a time.
What you get
-
The slides as saved. Layout, images and slide order render from the file. Fonts the browser does not have are substituted, which can move a line slightly; the content does not change.
-
Any device with a browser. Desktop, tablet, phone. Nothing to install, no account to create, no plugin to approve — the rendering happens on the server, so an old laptop opens a heavy deck.
-
Slide navigation, and a way out. Arrow keys, or jump to a slide by number. If the deck has to leave as something else, PPT and PPTX convert to PDF, JPG or PNG on the converter page, same 20 MB limit.
-
The file is not kept. Transfers run over HTTPS and the upload is deleted after viewing. There is no account for it to be stored under.
When it refuses
Over 20 MB, usually because the images carry the weight — compress them in the original. Password-protected, in which case type the password in the field under the upload box. Blank after loading means the extension does not match the contents; rename the file to what it actually is.
