A PDF, a browser, and nothing else to install. The free PDF viewer at OnlineDocumentViewer.com opens the file in the tab you already have open. No account, no download, no fee.

Fast, because your machine does none of the work

Rendering happens on the server and pages are prepared on demand, so the first page appears before the rest of the document has been processed. A phone or an old laptop opens the same file as a workstation.

Free, with nothing above it

No subscription, no trial that expires, no hidden fee, and no account to create. The pricing page has two lines: this viewer at zero, and a commercial licence for teams putting the same renderer inside their own software.

More than PDF

The same upload box takes 70+ extensions: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD drawings, PSD, Visio, Project, TIFF, EML and MSG email, EPUB, and the image formats. Each viewer has its own ceiling — 25 MB for PDF, 20 MB for Excel and PowerPoint, 15 MB for Word, 10 MB for CAD and email, 5 MB for HTML, XML and text.

What to know before you upload

The PDF limit is 25 MB, and scans hit it first. Search works on the text a PDF already carries, not on scanned images — there is no OCR here. A password-protected PDF stays closed unless the password is removed at the source. And the file is deleted after viewing: nothing is stored, because there is no account to store it under.
