For graphic designers and creative professionals, PSD files are an essential part of daily work. These files, created in Adobe Photoshop, offer a layered approach to design that allows for flexibility, detailed adjustments, and creative freedom. However, accessing PSD files without Adobe Suite can be challenging, especially when all you need is a quick view or review of the content. OnlineDocumentViewer.com offers an easy, no-installation solution to view PSD files directly in your browser.

If you're a designer or part of a creative team, OnlineDocumentViewer.com enables you to open and view PSD files without needing the full Adobe Suite on your system. It’s perfect for quick access, client presentations, or collaborative reviews.
The Role of PSD Files in Creative Work
PSD files are popular in the design world due to their multi-layered structure, which allows for detailed editing and flexible design options. Each layer holds different elements of the design, allowing designers to adjust specific parts without affecting the whole. But for many clients, stakeholders, or team members without Adobe software, viewing PSD files can be a hassle. Send them the file and point them at OnlineDocumentViewer.com: it opens a PSD in the browser with nothing installed.
What the PSD viewer shows
The PSD viewer takes a .psd up to 25 MB and renders it at full canvas size in the browser.
- Browser-based: no Photoshop, no plugin, no account.
- The composite Photoshop saved: layer order, masks, blend modes and adjustment layers already applied, hidden layers still hidden. Missing fonts do not matter — type was rasterised on save.
- Colour handling: CMYK and greyscale documents convert to RGB for display, with the embedded ICC profile applied.
- Zoom and pan to inspect detail. The file is deleted from the server afterwards.
What it does not do
- No layer panel. You cannot toggle layers on and off, or export one.
- No editing and no export. Nothing here writes a file out.
- PSB is not accepted. The large-document format is outside the catalogue.
- A PSD saved with Maximize Compatibility switched off carries no composite, and no reader outside Photoshop can show much of it.
The converters on this site take PNG and JPG, not PSD.
Doconut .NET Library
Design teams that need PSD viewing inside their own software use the Doconut .NET Library: the same rendering engine, licensed and installed on your own servers. It renders 75 extensions across 18 families — PSD, TIFF, PDF, Office, CAD, email and images among them — and sells four plugins alongside it: Annotation, Converter, DICOM and Search.
Try it
Drop a PSD on the PSD viewer. Free, no account, and the file deleted when you close the tab.
