Your Ultimate Online Document Viewer for PowerPoint

Open PPT, PPTX, ODP and six more presentation formats in any browser, up to 20 MB. No software, no account — and what a rendered slide leaves out.

A deck arrives as a .pptx and the machine in front of you has no PowerPoint. OnlineDocumentViewer.com, running on the Doconut engine, renders it in a browser tab — no install, no account, up to 20 MB per deck.

Below: what it accepts, what a rendered slide contains, and what it leaves out.

What the PowerPoint viewer does

1. Nine extensions, 20 MB per deck

PPT, PPTX, ODP, PPTM, PPSX, PPSM, POT, POTX and POTM. The macro-enabled variants render and nothing executes. Over 20 MB it is usually embedded video or full-resolution photographs — File, Compress Media, or Compress Pictures, then upload again.

2. No installation, no account

Upload and read, whether or not the machine has Microsoft Office on it. Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge; desktop, tablet or phone.

3. What a rendered slide contains — and what it does not

Each slide becomes an image. Layout, text, charts and pictures render as saved. Transitions and animations collapse into one frame, video and audio give you the poster frame, and speaker notes live outside the slide and do not appear. Hidden slides do render: they were hidden from the presentation, not removed from the deck.

One caveat on text: fonts are named in a document rather than stored in it, so a font missing from the rendering server is substituted and text can spill out of its box. Ask senders to save with fonts embedded when that matters.

4. The file does not stay

Uploaded over TLS, rendered on the server, deleted when the session ends. No account, no library, no second copy.

Putting a PowerPoint viewer inside your own product

This website is free and hosted; it is not embeddable and has no API. Embedding the same rendering engine in a WebForms, MVC, .NET Core or Blazor application is the Doconut .NET SDK — a licensed library that runs on your own servers, which is what a DMS or an eLearning platform would use.
