What each viewer actually gives you
PDF and Word
Page forward and back, jump to a page, zoom, fit to window, print. Search works on a document that carries a text layer — a PDF written by a word processor has one; a scanned page is a picture of text and returns nothing, because there is no OCR here. Rendering happens on the server, so the browser receives pages rather than the file.
CAD, without AutoCAD
DWG, DXF and DGN, up to 10 MB. Layers switch off one at a time, so the hatching can come away from the walls underneath. Distance, angle and area can be measured on the open drawing. Multi-sheet files open a sheet at a time.
PSD, without Photoshop
Up to 25 MB. What renders is the composite Photoshop saved: layer order, masks, blend modes and adjustment layers already applied. There is no layer panel to toggle, and PSB is not accepted. CMYK and greyscale are converted to RGB with the embedded ICC profile applied.
Office and the rest
Multi-sheet Excel workbooks open tab by tab; PowerPoint decks render slide by slide, one image per slide, so animations and transitions are flattened and speaker notes do not appear.
Limits and what happens to the file
The ceiling is set per format, because a drawing and a text file do not cost the same to render:
